Scaggs first made his mark as an early member of the Steve Miller Band before launching a hugely successful solo career, culminating in 1976’s “Silk Degrees” — a multi-platinum album that fused rock, R&B, and disco-era funk into a sound that helped define blue-eyed soul. Hits like “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle” remain radio staples, and Scaggs has continued recording and touring steadily across five decades since, exploring blues, jazz, and soul influences along the way.
Bass Concert Hall’s scale and acoustics make it a fitting home for a full-band show built around Scaggs’ polished, groove-driven catalog and the tight backing musicianship his live shows are known for.
