SEARCHWarehouse Live has been one of Houston’s essential touring-club destinations since 2006, when the original venue opened in the EaDo neighborhood at 813 St. Emanuel Street and quickly built a reputation for its standing-room-only design and rows of glittering LED chandeliers. Over roughly 17 years there, the club hosted an enormous range of major touring acts — Adele, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, and Panic! at the Disco among them — and even served as the Atlanta Falcons’ official fan headquarters during Super Bowl LI at nearby NRG Stadium in 2017.
As part of a planned move rather than any sign of trouble, the original EaDo location played its final show on December 3, 2023, with the Warehouse Live brand relaunching just weeks later at a new home: 2600 Travis Street in Midtown, in the space formerly occupied by Rise Rooftop. The Midtown venue held its grand reopening on December 29, 2023, followed by a New Year’s Eve grand-opening celebration on December 31. The booking pipeline and brand identity carried over intact to the new location.
Where the original EaDo club held three distinct rooms — the Ballroom, the Studio, and the Green Room — the new Warehouse Live Midtown operates as a single, flexible main room holding up to roughly 1,650 fans standing or 400 seated, giving the club a more streamlined, adaptable footprint for everything from dance-music takeovers to rock and hip-hop shows.
