Dallas: Journey at American Airlines Center

Journey brings its Final Frontier Tour to American Airlines Center in Dallas on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $137. The band has framed this run as its long farewell to the road, which makes this Friday night in Victory Park a big one for North Texas fans of arena rock.
Formed in San Francisco in 1973, Journey started as a jazz-rock outfit before Steve Perry arrived as lead singer in 1977 and turned the band into a hit machine. “Infinity,” “Evolution,” “Departure” and the blockbuster “Escape” produced songs that never left classic rock radio, including “Lights,” “Wheel in the Sky,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” and “Faithfully.” The band entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
Neal Schon, who co-founded the band as a teenage guitar prodigy, is the last original member still on stage, and Filipino singer Arnel Pineda has fronted the group since 2007. American Airlines Center is home to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars, and its 20,000-seat bowl is built for exactly this kind of show, with the whole arena joining in on the choruses.

The Final Frontier Tour runs 40 North American dates in fall 2026, and Texas gets two stops two nights apart. Two nights earlier, the band plays Houston; see our listing for Journey at Toyota Center in Houston. You can also browse other upcoming concerts on the American Airlines Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. The arena is at 2500 Victory Avenue, just north of downtown, and DART light rail stops at Victory Station right next to the building, which is the easiest way to skip Friday night parking. If you drive, arena garages and nearby lots fill quickly before big shows, so build in extra time.
