Dallas: Outlander in Concert at Majestic Theatre
Outlander in Concert comes to the Majestic Theatre in Dallas on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2026, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $80. The symphonic show pairs a live orchestra performing the series’ score with the show’s most memorable moments projected on a cinema-sized screen.
“Outlander,” based on Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling novels, follows Claire Randall, a World War II nurse who is swept back to 18th-century Scotland and falls for Highland warrior Jamie Fraser. The Starz series ran from 2014 through its eighth and final season and built one of television’s most devoted fan bases. Much of its identity comes from the score by Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary, which leans on Scottish folk melodies, bagpipes, fiddle and choir.
McCreary, also known for scoring “Battlestar Galactica,” “The Walking Dead” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” adapted Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem into the series’ “Skye Boat Song” theme. In concert, that theme and the score’s sweeping romantic and battle cues come to life with full orchestra while scenes from the show play above the stage.

The tour is visiting several Texas theaters this season. Other Texas dates include Sugar Land on Nov. 29, Austin on Nov. 28 and San Antonio on Dec. 1. The Majestic Theatre opened in 1921 on Elm Street as a vaudeville and movie palace and is the last survivor of downtown Dallas’s old Theatre Row, which makes its ornate interior a fitting setting for a period drama. Doors typically open about an hour before showtime. The Majestic Theatre is at 1925 Elm Street in downtown Dallas, with paid parking in nearby garages and the DART St. Paul Station a short walk away. It is the night before Thanksgiving, so expect holiday traffic and leave extra time.
