San Antonio: Outlander in Concert at Majestic Theatre

Outlander in Concert comes to the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $117. The symphonic show pairs a live orchestra performing the series’ score with the show’s most memorable moments projected on a cinema-sized screen.
“Outlander,” based on Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling novels, follows Claire Randall, a World War II nurse who is swept back to 18th-century Scotland and falls for Highland warrior Jamie Fraser. The Starz series ran from 2014 through its eighth and final season and built one of television’s most devoted fan bases. Much of its identity comes from the score by Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary, which leans on Scottish folk melodies, bagpipes, fiddle and choir.
McCreary, also known for scoring “Battlestar Galactica,” “The Walking Dead” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” adapted Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem into the series’ “Skye Boat Song” theme. In concert, that theme and the score’s sweeping romantic and battle cues come to life with full orchestra while scenes from the show play above the stage.
