Austin: John Summit at Moody Center

John Summit brings his CTRL ESCAPE Arena Tour to Moody Center in Austin on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with tickets starting at $200. The 20-date North American run supports his second album, “CTRL ESCAPE,” and puts one of dance music’s biggest stars in Austin’s largest arena.
Summit grew up in the Chicago suburbs and was working as a certified public accountant when his house tracks started taking off. He quit his job to produce full time, and songs like “Deep End,” “Make Me Feel,” “La Danza” and “Where You Are” with Hayla made him one of the fastest risers in electronic music. His 2024 debut album, “Comfort in Chaos,” pushed him from clubs and festival tents into arenas and stadiums.
“CTRL ESCAPE” arrived in 2026, the same year he made a surprise appearance on Coachella’s Do LaB stage and booked a headline show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. His live shows mix high-energy house and tech house with big vocal moments, and his fans, who follow him from city to city, are known for turning his sets into marathon dance parties.

Moody Center opened on the University of Texas campus in 2022 and replaced the Frank Erwin Center as Austin’s main arena. Its concert-first design, with strong sound and a large general admission floor option, makes it a good fit for an electronic arena show of this scale. Austin is one of only a few Texas stops on the tour. See more shows on the Moody Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Moody Center is at 2001 Robert Dedman Drive on the UT campus. Parking nearby is limited, so rideshare or walking from downtown is often easiest on a Friday night. Expect a late finish and a high-energy crowd.
