Sugar Land: Twilight in Concert at Smart Financial Centre
Twilight in Concert comes to Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2027, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $80. The live-to-film show screens the 2008 movie “Twilight” in full while a 12-piece ensemble of rock and orchestral musicians performs the score live, with the stage lit by more than 1,000 candles.
“Twilight,” based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel, follows Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to rainy Forks, Washington, and falls for the mysterious vampire Edward Cullen. Starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the film launched one of the biggest movie franchises of its era, and its moody Pacific Northwest atmosphere is a big part of why fans still return to it.
Composer Carter Burwell wrote the film’s original score, including “Bella’s Lullaby,” the piano theme at the heart of the story. The “Twilight” soundtrack album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went double platinum, and hearing the music performed live, in sync with the film, gives a familiar movie a new kind of intensity. GEA Live presents the show in association with Lionsgate, and it has toured theaters across the country.

The tour also visits Midland’s Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center the night before, so West Texas and Houston-area fans both get a chance to see it this winter. Smart Financial Centre opened in 2017 as Sugar Land’s 6,400-seat performing arts venue, and its theater-style layout suits a show built around both a big screen and live musicians. See more shows on the Smart Financial Centre venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about an hour before showtime. Smart Financial Centre is at 18111 Lexington Boulevard in Sugar Land, about 20 miles southwest of downtown Houston, with on-site parking. Arrive early to take in the candlelit stage before the film begins.
