Midland: Twilight in Concert at Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center

Twilight in Concert comes to the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center in Midland on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2027, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $85. The live-to-film show screens the 2008 movie “Twilight” in full while a 12-piece ensemble of rock and orchestral musicians performs the score live, with the stage lit by more than 1,000 candles.
“Twilight,” based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel, follows Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to rainy Forks, Washington, and falls for the mysterious vampire Edward Cullen. Starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the film launched one of the biggest movie franchises of its era, and its moody Pacific Northwest atmosphere is a big part of why fans keep coming back to it.
Composer Carter Burwell wrote the film’s original score, including “Bella’s Lullaby,” the piano theme at the heart of the story. The soundtrack album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went double platinum, and hearing the music played live in sync with the film gives a familiar movie new intensity. GEA Live presents the show in association with Lionsgate.
