The Lucky Me Tour marks Hilary Duff’s first major headline tour since the Dignity Tour in 2007–2008 — nearly two decades off the road. After playing The Woodlands on June 27 and Austin on June 28, Irving closes out a three-city Texas sweep that represents the biggest pop homecoming the state has seen this summer. Additionally, following the North American run, Duff adds 19 more dates in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Mexico — carrying the tour all the way to February 2027. DFW gets the last Texas show.

From Disney Darling to Billboard Chart-Topper

Hilary Duff rose to prominence in the early 2000s through her hit Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire and launched her music career in 2002 with the Christmas album Santa Claus Lane. Her proper debut album Metamorphosis arrived in 2003 and catapulted her to the top of the US charts, spawning hits like “So Yesterday” and “Come Clean.” A self-titled follow-up arrived a year later. Then came Dignity in 2007 — the record that showcased her ability to shift genre styles with ease and proved she could command a pop identity entirely her own. Every album, including her 2015 work Breathe In. Breathe Out., debuted and peaked in the top five of the Billboard 200 charts.

Between albums, Duff built a second career as a respected actress. Now 38 and a mother of four, she spent years starring in Younger and How I Met Your Father while raising a family far from the pop music machine. She notably pulled the plug on a planned Disney+ reboot of Lizzie McGuire because the network refused to let her character actually grow up — a decision that tells you everything about the artist who returned to music in 2026.

The Album That Made Her Return Impossible to Ignore

In September 2025, Duff signed with Atlantic Records and released her sixth studio album, luck… or something, on February 20, 2026 — her first full-length record in 11 years. Co-written with her husband and collaborator Matthew Koma, the record pulls no punches. Bold tracks like “Roommates,” “Adult Size Medium,” and “You, from the Honeymoon” feel both daring and true to her convictions — songs written from a place of hard-won perspective that no 23-year-old could fake.

Critics called it “a lyric-heavy record wrapped up in glittery synths and catchy melodies” — and noted it’s packed with stories “as if it were a country record.” That line plays well in Texas. Lead single “Mature” — an autobiographical reflection on an age-gap relationship — introduces the crisp, sophisticated pop sound that defines the album and nods toward personal themes of love, loss, insecurity, and hope. Moreover, the setlist for the Lucky Me Tour will likely anchor around fan favorites like “Wake Up,” “So Yesterday,” “Come Clean,” and “Why Not” — anthems that an entire generation of Texas fans grew up singing.

Before the full arena run launched, Duff performed a series of intimate comeback shows that sold out in minutes — proof that the audience never left. They just waited. On June 30 in Irving, that long wait ends with one final Texas night that the DFW Metroplex will be talking about all summer.

The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory is a unique boutique, open-air pavilion offering three flexible capacities: a 2,500-person intimate theater, a 4,000-person indoor theater, and an 8,000-person amphitheater. D-Magazine calls it the “Optimus Prime of live music venues,” and located at 300 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in the upscale, master-planned Las Colinas community, it offers quick, convenient access from anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area — including easy access from DFW International Airport. Furthermore, premium seats, VIP club access, and 20 different restaurants and bars surround the venue — making this a full evening out, not just a concert.

Lawn chair rentals and fast lane access upgrades are available for this show. Arrive early, explore the restaurants and bars at Toyota Music Factory, and settle in for a Tuesday night that feels anything but ordinary.
