Fort Worth: Los Lonely Boys at Billy Bob’s Texas

July 18 @ 10:00 pm

San Angelo’s own Los Lonely Boys roll into the Fort Worth Stockyards on Saturday, July 18, 2026, bringing the sound they invented themselves — Texican Rock ’n’ Roll — to the world’s largest honky-tonk.

Showtime is 10 PM at Billy Bob’s Texas, 2520 Rodeo Plaza — the same legendary dancehall that has hosted everyone from Willie Nelson to George Strait. With room for 6,000 dancers on the floor, there’s plenty of space to two-step to a band that built its own genre.

Brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza grew up in San Angelo following the tradition of their father, Enrique Garza, who played conjunto music around South Texas with his own brothers in a band called the Falcones. A local club owner, John R. Steele, discovered the trio and became their first road manager, and by 2004 the brothers had a Sony/Epic deal and a bona fide hit: “Heaven,” which reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 and won a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

After more than a decade away from the studio, the Garzas returned in 2024 with Resurrection, recorded partly at Henry’s own studio back home in San Angelo and at Sonic Ranch near El Paso — a record that pays tribute to Texas legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddy Fender while keeping the brotherly fire that built the band’s sound in the first place.

Expect a set that swings from the blues-soaked riffs that made “Heaven” a crossover hit to the Tejano and rock ’n’ roll flourishes that have always set Los Lonely Boys apart. Fort Worth, get ready to dance.
