Since forming in Austin in 2006, the Band of Heathens has built its name through nonstop touring and a sound that blends rock, soul, and classic Americana songwriting. Guitarists and vocalists Gordy Quist and Ed Jurdi lead the band’s harmony-driven arrangements, a style shaped by years playing a weekly residency on Austin’s Red River strip before the group graduated to national tours and festival stages. Nearly two decades in, the band has released a deep catalog of independently produced records and built a loyal following through relentless live performances.
Stable Hall is one of San Antonio’s newer live music venues, a converted event space that has quickly become a favorite stop for touring roots, country, and rock acts passing through South Texas.
