Harrison, also known by her spiritual name Jahnavi Jivana dasi, grew up at the Bhaktivedanta Manor in England, where mantra chanting and sacred art were part of everyday life. She went on to earn a degree in linguistics and creative writing from Middlesex University before dedicating nearly two decades to performing original spiritual music around the world.
Harrison co-founded Kirtan London, a project built to make mantra music accessible to wider audiences, and she regularly appears as a presenter on BBC Radio 4’s Something Understood and BBC Radio 2’s Pause for Thought. In addition to her solo work, she has released a Grammy-nominated album, Bhakti Without Borders, and collaborated with Willow Smith on the album RISE. Because her music centers on the bhakti yoga tradition, expect a set built around voice, violin, and communal chanting rather than a typical rock or pop show.
