Austin: Los Dos de Tamaulipas at ACL Live
Los Dos de Tamaulipas bring their Chivalones Tour to ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026. The norteño group takes the stage at 8:00 PM, and tickets start at $111.
About Los Dos de Tamaulipas
Los Dos de Tamaulipas are led by twin brothers Rolando and Orlando Zapata, who started playing in 2014 when they were about 13 years old. Rolando picked up the accordion and Orlando the bajo quinto, and the pair learned traditional norteño songs by playing local restaurants, quinceañeras, and birthday parties. Performing first as Los Cuates de Tamaulipas, they recorded a debut album, Detrás de la Puerta, in 2015.
The brothers turned professional after signing with the Afinarte label and releasing Soy el Calentano in 2018. Along the way they earned the blessing of several genre heavyweights, including Juan Villarreal, Eliseo Robles, and Arnulfo López of Los Traileros del Norte, and they have grown into one of the fastest-rising acts in Regional Mexican music, mixing classic accordion-driven norteño with modern corridos and drawing big crowds on both sides of the border.
Texas has always been home turf for norteño, and Austin’s Regional Mexican audience has been showing up in force at the Moody. Fans who caught Grupo Duelo at ACL Live in September will know the energy these shows bring, with dancing in the aisles and crowds singing along to every corrido.
The Chivalones Tour is the group’s latest run through the U.S., and the Austin stop puts the twins in one of the best-sounding rooms in the state. Get your tickets on TicketNetwork before the show sells out.
