Austin: Pentatonix at Moody Center
Pentatonix brings its Christmas in the City Tour 2026 to Moody Center in Austin on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with tickets starting at $89. The a cappella group’s holiday arena tour has become a December tradition for families, and this year’s show celebrates its “Christmas in the City” album.
Pentatonix is a Texas story. Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado and Mitch Grassi grew up together in Arlington and sang together at Martin High School before forming the group in 2011 with Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola. They won the third season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” then built a massive YouTube following with arrangements like “Daft Punk” and “Hallelujah.” The group has won three Grammy Awards and sold millions of albums, and its holiday records have become seasonal bestsellers.
The current lineup of Hoying, Maldonado, Grassi, Olusola and bass singer Matt Sallee will mix holiday favorites with songs from “Christmas in the City,” released in 2025 with a deluxe edition in October 2026, including the single “Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again.” Expect crowd-pleasers like “Mary, Did You Know?,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Hallelujah,” all done with nothing but voices and beatboxing.

The tour runs from early November to late December and includes other Texas stops, but Austin is a chance to see the Arlington-raised group close to home. Moody Center opened on the University of Texas campus in 2022 and is Austin’s main arena for holiday tours like this one. See more shows on the Moody Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about an hour before showtime. Moody Center is at 2001 Robert Dedman Drive on the UT campus. Parking nearby is limited, so rideshare or walking from downtown is often easiest. With school out soon after, expect a big family crowd, so arrive early.
