Big Mike Richardson and the Kessler Theater have crossed paths plenty over the years, and this August marks another round. Richardson has spent more than twenty years performing across North Texas, both fronting his own band and holding down long-running residencies. Because of that track record, he’s become a go-to name for classic rock done right.
His regular gigs at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium and The Moon have built a loyal following in Fort Worth and beyond. Richardson also plays in several tribute projects, including a Police homage and a Doors-inspired outfit. As a result, his sets pull from decades of rock history rather than any single era.
About the Kessler Theater
The Kessler Theater has hosted Dallas music since a 2010 restoration transformed the historic 1942 building into a full-time concert venue in Oak Cliff.
