Christopher Holt Kessler Theater tickets are on sale for Friday, October 23, as the Dallas-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist plays a hometown date in Oak Cliff. Holt’s career spans more than three decades, and he plays guitar, piano, bass, drums, pedal steel, lap steel, mandolin, ukulele, and harmonica. Because of that versatility, he has shared the stage with artists including Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, the Doobie Brothers, Derek Trucks, Chris Stapleton, and Steve Earle.
Holt is internationally known as the touring guitarist for Eagles, Don Henley, and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, and he is a five-time Dallas Observer Music Award winner. In addition to his session and touring work, he released three albums of original music with the critically acclaimed Bastards of Soul. His latest solo album, Across the Milky Way, reflects a lifetime spent chasing songs and sounds, and this Kessler show gives Dallas fans a rare chance to see him lead his own band.

The Kessler Theater has anchored the Oak Cliff neighborhood since opening in 1942, and the Art Deco building was once owned by singing cowboy Gene Autry. Since its restoration and reopening as a live music venue, the Kessler Theater has built a reputation for pristine acoustics and an intimate room that puts fans close to the stage.
