Dallas: Trans-Siberian Orchestra at American Airlines Center (3 PM Show)
Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” 30th Anniversary Winter Tour to American Airlines Center in Dallas on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with tickets starting at $106. This is the afternoon show; a second performance follows at 7:30 PM the same day.
Producer and composer Paul O’Neill created Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 1996 to combine rock band, orchestra and theater in one show. Its debut album, “Christmas Eve and Other Stories,” came out on Oct. 15, 1996, and its track “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” became a holiday radio standard. Over three decades, TSO’s winter tours have grown into one of the most popular holiday traditions in North America.
This 30th anniversary tour revives “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” the rock opera story of a runaway who finds shelter in an abandoned theater on Christmas Eve, with reimagined staging. A second set of holiday songs and TSO favorites follows. The production is famous for its lasers, pyrotechnics and moving lighting rigs, and the group splits into Eastern and Western touring companies so it can play arenas across the country at once.

Dallas is the last of TSO’s Texas stops this winter, after Austin on Dec. 9, Houston on Dec. 11 and San Antonio on Dec. 12; see our listings for TSO in Houston and TSO in San Antonio. American Airlines Center, home of the Mavericks and Stars, has the ceiling height and rigging for TSO’s full lighting and pyro production. See more shows on the American Airlines Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about an hour before showtime. American Airlines Center is at 2500 Victory Avenue, just north of downtown, and DART light rail stops at Victory Station next to the arena. The matinee is a good choice for families, but arrive early, since parking fills before both shows.
