Houston: Blue October at 713 Music Hall (Dec. 18)

Blue October brings its 20th Anniversary World Tour home to Houston for two nights at 713 Music Hall, starting Friday, Dec. 18, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with tickets starting at $65. The band is performing its breakthrough album “Foiled” in its entirety, and Jess Woodland opens. These hometown shows close out the band’s long Texas run of anniversary dates; see our listing for Blue October at Bass Concert Hall in Austin.
Singer Justin Furstenfeld formed Blue October in Houston in 1995 with his brother, drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld, and violinist Ryan Delahoussaye. The band’s mix of alternative rock, raw confessional lyrics and violin set it apart, and after years of steady touring across Texas, “Foiled” (2006) made them national stars. Its single “Hate Me,” written as an apology to Furstenfeld’s mother from the depths of addiction, became a top alternative radio hit, and “Into the Ocean” followed it onto pop and rock playlists.
Twenty years later, “Foiled” remains the band’s best-selling record and the emotional core of its live show. Hearing it start to finish means “Hate Me,” “Into the Ocean,” “She’s My Ride Home” and “X Amount of Words” in the order fans first heard them, in the city where the band got its start.

713 Music Hall opened in 2021 inside the POST Houston complex downtown and holds about 5,000 fans on a general admission floor, a fitting size for a Houston homecoming. See more shows on the 713 Music Hall venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open an hour before showtime. 713 Music Hall is inside POST Houston at 401 Franklin Street, with paid parking in the POST garage and nearby lots. Friday nights in December are busy downtown, so arrive early and expect a hometown crowd that has followed the band for decades.
