Houston: Sabaton with Pop Evil at 713 Music Hall

Swedish power metal band Sabaton brings its Legends on Tour run to 713 Music Hall in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with tickets starting at $36. Michigan hard rockers Pop Evil and Los Angeles heavy metal band Wings of Steel support on every date of the tour.
Sabaton formed in Falun, Sweden, in 1999 and built a worldwide following by writing nearly every song about real military history, from the Thirty Years’ War to World War I. Albums like “Carolus Rex,” “Heroes,” “The Great War” and “The War to End All Wars” turned singer Joakim Brodén’s camouflage-pants stage persona into a metal institution. The band’s 2025 album “Legends” shifted focus to famous historical figures, and this tour is built around it.
The North American leg was originally set for early 2026 but was rescheduled after bassist Pär Sundström developed arm inflammation that needed treatment and rest. The new fall dates run from September through December, so Houston fans finally get the show they were waiting for. Sabaton is known for big production, including pyrotechnics, tanks and staging that changes with each album.

Pop Evil has spent more than a decade on rock radio with songs like “Trenches,” “Footsteps” and “Waking Lions,” and Wings of Steel brings a throwback, high-pitched heavy metal sound. 713 Music Hall opened in 2021 in Houston’s POST complex downtown and holds about 5,000 fans on a general admission floor. See more shows on the 713 Music Hall venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open an hour before showtime. 713 Music Hall is inside POST Houston at 401 Franklin Street, with paid parking in the POST garage and nearby lots. With three bands on the bill, arrive early if you want to catch Wings of Steel’s opening set and a good spot on the floor.
