Don Omar brings “The Last King World Tour” to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, with tickets starting at $53. The tour celebrates 25 years of a career that helped carry reggaeton from Puerto Rico to arenas around the world.
Born William Omar Landrón Rivera in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Don Omar rose to fame in the early 2000s with “Dale Don Dale” and “Reggaetón Latino,” and his 2006 album “King of Kings” became one of the genre’s landmark releases. In 2011 “Danza Kuduro,” his collaboration with Lucenzo, became a global smash after being featured in “Fast Five,” and Don Omar also appeared on screen in the “Fast & Furious” franchise. Other hits include “Pobre Diabla,” “Salió El Sol” and “Taboo.”
San Antonio’s large Latino community and deep love for Latin music make this one of the most anticipated stops on the run. The tour kicked off Sept. 25 in Reading, Pennsylvania, and covers 21 U.S. cities, with Texas stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and El Paso. Expect a career-spanning set packed with the songs that defined reggaeton’s first big wave.
Often called “El Rey” by fans, Don Omar has collected Latin Billboard Music Awards and Latin Grammy nominations throughout his career, and his 2010 album “Meet the Orphans” kept him at the top of the charts as the genre grew. The Texas leg also includes a stop at American Airlines Center; see our listing for Don Omar in Dallas. His visit follows Chayanne, who played the arena in September.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Frost Bank Center offers paid parking in the surrounding lots. The show is expected to draw a big, bilingual crowd ready to sing along to every chorus. For a Thursday night show, give yourself extra time for weekday traffic and security lines.
