San Antonio: Streetlight Manifesto at Aztec Theatre

Streetlight Manifesto brings The Presence of the Past Tour to the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with tickets starting at $101. The New Jersey ska-punk band tours only occasionally, so a stop in South Texas is a big night for fans who have followed them for two decades.
Singer and guitarist Tomas Kalnoky formed Streetlight Manifesto in 2002 after leaving Catch 22, the band whose 1998 album “Keasbey Nights” became a third-wave ska classic. Streetlight’s 2003 debut, “Everything Goes Numb,” set the template: fast, complex songs built on a full horn section, rapid-fire lyrics about doubt, faith and survival, and Kalnoky’s distinctive voice. “Somewhere in the Between” (2007) and “The Hands That Thieve” (2013) followed, along with the “99 Songs of Revolution” covers series.
Songs like “We Will Fall Together,” “A Better Place, a Better Time,” “Here’s to Life” and “Would You Be Impressed?” have kept the band’s following loyal and growing, even through long breaks between albums and limited touring. Live, the band’s horn players and tight rhythm section turn the room into a nonstop skank pit, and the crowd typically sings along to every word.

The Aztec Theatre opened in 1926 on the San Antonio River and is famous for its Mesoamerican-inspired design, with carved columns, murals and a giant chandelier. Restored in the 2000s, it now hosts concerts of every genre, and its standing-room floor suits a high-energy ska show. See more shows on the Aztec Theatre venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open an hour before showtime. The Aztec Theatre is at 104 North St. Mary’s Street downtown, steps from the River Walk, with paid parking in nearby garages. Expect a packed, sweaty floor, so dress light and stay hydrated.
