San Antonio: Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Frost Bank Center (3 PM Show)
Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings its 2026 winter tour to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio for a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, with tickets starting at $104. The afternoon show is a family-friendly way to catch one of the biggest holiday traditions in live music.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra was created by producer and composer Paul O’Neill along with Robert Kinkel and Jon Oliva of the metal band Savatage, blending rock, classical music and holiday storytelling. The group’s breakout came with “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” and its Christmas trilogy of “Christmas Eve and Other Stories,” “The Christmas Attic” and “The Lost Christmas Eve” has sold millions of copies. “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” also aired as a television special in 1999.
This year’s tour celebrates TSO’s 30th anniversary with a reimagined staging of “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” followed by a second set of fan favorites. The run starts Nov. 19 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and wraps Dec. 30 in St. Louis, with Texas stops including Austin and San Antonio. San Antonio gets two shows on Dec. 12, and this matinee lets families get home before dark.

TSO is known for one of the most elaborate stage productions on the road, with lasers, pyrotechnics, moving lighting rigs and a mix of rock band, singers and strings. For years the group has toured as two full companies at once to meet holiday demand, making it one of the top-grossing touring acts of the season. O’Neill died in 2017, and the group has continued touring in his honor. The arena has had a big year for rock, including two nights of RUSH in September.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Frost Bank Center offers paid parking in the lots around the arena. Because an evening show follows the same day, expect busy lots and arrive early. Prefer a night show? There is also a 7:30 p.m. performance.
