Waco: Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen at The Backyard Waco
Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen play The Backyard in Waco on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with tickets starting at $125. The show is part of the fall leg of Bingham’s Still Gettin’ Away With It Tour, which swings through Texas in early November.
Raised across New Mexico and West Texas, Bingham spent his early years riding bulls on the rodeo circuit before turning to music. His 2007 album “Mescalito” introduced his gravel-voiced, border-town Americana, and in 2010 he won the Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy for “The Weary Kind,” co-written with T Bone Burnett for the film “Crazy Heart.” Many newer fans also know him as Walker, the cowboy he played on “Yellowstone.”
The tour supports “They Call Us the Lucky Ones,” released in May 2026 and his first full-length album in more than seven years. Its 10 songs include “Twist the Knife,” “Americana,” “Cocaine Charlie” and “Ballad of The Texas Gentlemen,” a nod to his backing band. The Texas Gentlemen, a Dallas collective of session players who have backed artists including Kris Kristofferson, give the shows a loose, roadhouse feel.

The fall run includes several Texas stops, and it wraps up a week later at Billy Bob’s Texas. See our listing for Ryan Bingham at Billy Bob’s Texas. The Backyard in Waco is an outdoor bar and music venue known for hosting Texas country and Americana under the stars, which suits Bingham’s dusty, open-road sound. Gates typically open about an hour before showtime. The Backyard is an outdoor venue, so dress for an early November evening in Central Texas, which can cool off quickly after dark. Parking is available nearby, but lots fill for big shows, so arrive early.
