SUMMARY:Fort Worth: Morrissey at Dickies Arena
DESCRIPTION:Morrissey plays Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Thursday\, Oct. 29\, 2026\, at 8:20 PM\, with tickets starting at $77. The former Smiths singer is touring North America behind his latest album\, “Make-Up Is a Lie\,” and Fort Worth is the first of three Texas dates. \nSteven Patrick Morrissey grew up in Manchester\, England\, and co-founded the Smiths with guitarist Johnny Marr in 1982. In just five years the band released four studio albums\, including “The Queen Is Dead\,” and songs such as “This Charming Man\,” “How Soon Is Now?” and “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out” that shaped decades of indie and alternative rock. After the Smiths split in 1987\, Morrissey launched a solo career with “Viva Hate” and hits like “Suedehead” and “Everyday Is Like Sunday.” \nBuy Tickets \nHis solo catalog runs from “Vauxhall and I” and “You Are the Quarry” to “Make-Up Is a Lie\,” and his shows typically mix solo favorites with a handful of Smiths songs. The 2026 tour opened with a four-night stand in Las Vegas in August. He has also postponed or canceled many shows over the years\, so it is worth checking for updates as the date approaches. Fans who have seen him recently say his voice remains in strong form\, and the band brings a polished\, rock-forward sound to both eras of his catalog. \nGet your Morrissey tickets on TicketNetwork \nAfter Fort Worth\, the tour continues to Houston and El Paso. See our listing for Morrissey at 713 Music Hall in Houston on Nov. 1. Dickies Arena opened in 2019 in Fort Worth’s Cultural District\, and its steep seating keeps the room feeling close even at arena scale. See more shows on the Dickies Arena venue page on Texas Music Map. \nDoors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Dickies Arena is at 1911 Montgomery Street\, next to the Will Rogers Memorial Center\, with paid parking in the Will Rogers garages. The later 8:20 PM start means a late night on a Thursday\, so plan accordingly.
