SUMMARY:Grand Prairie: Stray Cats at Texas Trust CU Theatre
DESCRIPTION:The Stray Cats play Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie on Monday\, Nov. 9\, 2026\, at 8:00 PM\, with tickets starting at $70. Brian Setzer\, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom are back on the road after the band canceled its 2025 fall tour when Setzer revealed he was dealing with an autoimmune disease\, which makes this run a welcome return. \nThe trio formed on Long Island\, New York\, in 1979 and found its first success in England\, where the punk-era crowd embraced their slicked-back revival of 1950s rockabilly. Back home\, MTV made them stars\, and “Rock This Town\,” “Stray Cat Strut” and “(She’s) Sexy + 17” became early-’80s hits. Setzer later led the Brian Setzer Orchestra\, but the original trio has reunited many times. \nBuy Tickets \nIn late 2025 the band released “Stampede” and “Teenage Heaven\,” its first new songs since 2019. On stage\, the formula is as simple and powerful as ever: Setzer’s flashy Gretsch guitar\, Rocker slapping an upright bass and Phantom playing a stripped-down kit standing up. Expect the hits plus rockabilly covers that pay tribute to Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent. \nGet your Stray Cats tickets on TicketNetwork \nThe fall tour has three Texas stops: Grand Prairie on Nov. 9\, San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre on Nov. 10 and Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on Nov. 12. Texas Trust CU Theatre\, formerly known as Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie\, is a 6\,000-seat venue between Dallas and Fort Worth built for concerts\, with good sightlines from every level. See more shows on the Texas Trust CU Theatre venue page on Texas Music Map. \nDoors typically open about an hour before showtime. Texas Trust CU Theatre is at 1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie\, off Interstate 30 near Lone Star Park\, with on-site parking. Arrive early to grab a drink and settle in before the band hits the stage.

SUMMARY:Grand Prairie: Sugarland at Texas Trust CU Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Sugarland closes its Ride or Die Tour at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie on Saturday\, Nov. 21\, 2026\, at 7:00 PM\, with tickets starting at $111. Grand Prairie is the only Texas stop and the final night of a 26-city run celebrating the 20th anniversary of the duo’s breakthrough album\, “Enjoy the Ride.” \nJennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush formed Sugarland in Atlanta in 2002\, and their debut single\, “Baby Girl\,” launched one of the most successful duos in country music. Albums “Twice the Speed of Life\,” “Enjoy the Ride” and “Love on the Inside” produced hits like “Want To\,” “Settlin’\,” “Stay\,” “All I Want to Do” and “It Happens.” They won five straight CMA Vocal Duo of the Year awards from 2007 to 2011\, and “Stay” won the Grammy for Best Country Song. \nBuy Tickets \nThe duo has sold nearly 10 million albums\, scored seven No. 1 singles and logged nearly 2 billion streams. Both members stay busy outside the band: Nettles wrote and starred in the off-Broadway musical “Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo” in 2026\, and Bush is an in-demand Nashville producer whose recent work includes Megan Moroney’s No. 1 album “Cloud 9.” The setlist draws from the band’s full catalog of the past 20-plus years. \nGet your Sugarland tickets on TicketNetwork \nTexas Trust CU Theatre\, formerly the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie\, is a roughly 6\,000-seat concert venue between Dallas and Fort Worth with good sightlines from every level\, a fitting room for a tour finale. See more shows on the Texas Trust CU Theatre venue page on Texas Music Map. \nDoors typically open about an hour before showtime. Texas Trust CU Theatre is at 1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie\, near Lone Star Park\, with on-site parking. Arrive early for a tour-closing night\, since final shows of a tour often bring a few surprises.
