Audio Dallas Recording Studio, formerly known as Autumn Sound Studio, is a historic recording facility located in Garland, just outside of Dallas. Established in 1974 by engineers Glen Pace and Phil York, Autumn Sound was the first 24-track recording studio in Texas. Autumn Sound Studio gained national recognition shortly after opening when Willie Nelson came in and recorded his groundbreaking album Red Headed Stranger, featuring the hit “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”.

In 1981, Paul Osborn acquired the studio and renamed it Audio Dallas. Under his leadership, the studio has continued to thrive, contributing to over 25 Gold and Platinum projects. Artists such as Alessia Cara, K-Ci & JoJo, Korn, Migos, Rick Ross, T.I., Kris Kristofferson, Jack Ingram, and Miranda Lambert have recorded or mixed music at Audio Dallas.

Audio Dallas is known for blending vintage analog techniques with modern digital technology. The studio offers recording to 2″ analog reel-to-reel tape before transitioning to digital platforms like Pro Tools HD or LUNA. It features a Neve VR60/48 automated console and an array of vintage outboard gear, providing artists with a classic analog sound. Services include full music productions, demos, voice-overs, audiobooks, analog-to-digital transfers, and audio restoration.

Located at 3810 Cavalier Drive in Garland, Audio Dallas operates by appointment only. The studio is owned and operated by musicians, ensuring a professional and artist-focused recording experience.
