SEE MORE IN:
Main Street Crossing—a cozy, 180-seat nonprofit listening room in the heart of Tomball’s Old Town—is where honky‑tonk heart meets heartfelt mission. Rick and Terri Davis (with their son Matt as GM) founded it in 2004 by. Housed in an early‑20th‑century‑style brick building that was once a grocery store. MSC is now a laid‑back concert hall, church venue, restaurant, and community hub.
Intimate Live Music: Every seat at Main Street Crossing is a good seat—no more than about 45 feet from the stage. This creates a boutique concert experience that’s become its trademark. It regularly features Texas country, Americana, folk, blues, and even tribute acts. It also draws elite performers such as Asleep at the Wheel, Randy Rogers, Alejandro Escovedo, Sundance Head, and Mike Eli.
Restaurant & Drinks: Not just a stage—MSC offers full-table service with a menu of pub-style bites, burgers, pizzas, margaritas, beer, and wine. It’s perfect for a casual yet polished night out.
Community & Church: As a 501(c)(3), Main Street Crossing supports small church congregations like Journey, Well Spring, and Sondays, hosting weekly services at minimal or no cost. Music proceeds actually underwrite this mission. The venue doubles as a charity engine—organizing fundraisers, youth musician showcases, and monthly pastor breakfasts.
Houston-Area Accolades: Named one of the “10 Best Music Venues Outside Loop 610” and a top singer‑songwriter stage by Houston Press.
All‑Around Venue: Hosts private events—corporate meetings, weddings, community gatherings—under twinkling patio lights and high ceilings.
Socially Inclusive: Welcomes diverse acts, including special‑needs bands, and encourages patrons to mingle and meet artists post-show.
