Randy Rogers grew up in Cleburne, just a short drive south of Fort Worth, and put the band together in San Marcos around the turn of the millennium, sharpening the group’s songs on the stage of Cheatham Street Warehouse, the legendary Hill Country listening room that helped launch so many Texas songwriters.
