Houston: Journey at Toyota Center
Journey brings its Final Frontier Tour to Toyota Center in Houston on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026, at 7:30 PM, with tickets starting at $102. Billed as the band’s long goodbye to the road, the tour gives Houston fans one more chance to hear the anthems that defined arena rock.
Journey formed in San Francisco in 1973 and broke through after Steve Perry joined as lead singer in 1977. Albums like “Infinity,” “Departure” and the multi-platinum “Escape” turned out a run of hits that still fill stadiums: “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” “Faithfully” and “Any Way You Want It.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
Guitarist Neal Schon, the band’s only remaining original member, still leads the charge, and Arnel Pineda has handled lead vocals since 2007 after the band famously discovered him through YouTube videos of his Philippine cover band. Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets, has hosted Journey on several past tours, and the arena’s size suits a catalog built for big singalongs.

“Don’t Stop Believin'” became one of the best-selling digital tracks of all time and found a new generation through “Glee” and “The Sopranos” finale. The Final Frontier Tour stretches through 40 North American dates in fall 2026, and Texas gets two of them: Two nights later, the band plays Dallas; see our listing for Journey at American Airlines Center in Dallas. For more shows at this downtown arena, see the Toyota Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Toyota Center sits at 1510 Polk Street in downtown Houston, with paid parking in nearby garages and surface lots. Weeknight traffic downtown can be heavy, so plan to arrive early, grab a drink and settle in before the lights go down.
