Austin: Amble at Emo’s
Irish folk trio Amble play Emo’s in Austin on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with tickets starting at $105. The show follows a breakout stretch that took them from Dublin pubs to stadium stages with Ed Sheeran.
Robbie Cunningham and Oisín McCaffrey started Amble as a duo in 2022, playing covers in pubs around Ireland. Ross McNerney joined on mandolin and banjo, and after a show in County Leitrim the three decided to go all in, quitting their day jobs once they signed with Warner Records. Their warm harmonies, acoustic instruments and songs about home, friendship and the sea struck a chord fast, first in Ireland and then online around the world.
Their debut album, “Reverie,” reached No. 1 in Ireland in 2025, and singles like “Lonely Island,” “Schoolyard Days” and “The Swell,” another Irish No. 1, built their following. Amble opened for Hozier on his Unreal Unearth tour and in 2026 joined the North American leg of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour, putting them in front of stadium crowds. Their live albums, “Live from Dublin” and “Live from Dublin II,” capture the singalong energy of their shows.

Emo’s started on Red River Street in 1992 as a punk and indie club and moved to its current East Riverside location in 2011, where it now hosts touring acts of every kind. It is a fitting room for a band that grew up playing pubs but now draws crowds far bigger. See more shows on the Emo’s venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open an hour before showtime. Emo’s is at 2015 East Riverside Drive, with on-site and nearby paid parking. Expect a crowd that knows every word, so arrive early for a spot close to the stage and settle in for a night of Irish harmonies.
