Houston: Cameron Whitcomb at House of Blues

Cameron Whitcomb closes the Kingdom of Fear Tour at the Music Hall at House of Blues Houston on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with tickets starting at $45. The Halloween night show is the final date of the Canadian singer’s biggest U.S. headlining run, the night after his Dallas stop; see our listing for Cameron Whitcomb at House of Blues Dallas.
Whitcomb first drew national attention as a contestant on Season 20 of “American Idol” in 2022. Since then he has built a career in country and folk-rock, known for gritty vocals, raw, personal songwriting and high-energy shows that feel closer to a rock concert than a typical country gig. In May 2026 he returned to the “Idol” stage as a featured guest, performing with finalist Brooks Rosser.
The tour is named for “Kingdom of Fear,” the single that became his breakout, and his catalog also includes “Hundred Mile High.” The run began Sept. 24 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and has included stops at Atlanta’s Tabernacle, Tulsa’s Cain’s Ballroom, Los Angeles’s Wiltern and Austin’s Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater. Noah Rinker, NEP and Liam St. John have opened on different dates.

A tour finale on Halloween in a packed club should make for a memorable night, with costumes likely all over the floor. House of Blues Houston sits downtown in the GreenStreet complex across from Discovery Green, and its Music Hall has a standing floor and balcony. See more shows on the House of Blues Houston venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open an hour before showtime. House of Blues is at 1204 Caroline Street, with paid parking in the GreenStreet garage and nearby lots. Halloween night downtown will be busy, so rideshare is the easiest option, and arrive early to catch the opener.
