His song “London Homesick Blues” — with its immortal refrain about wanting to go home with the armadillo — became the unofficial anthem of Austin’s outlaw country scene and served as the theme for the iconic Austin City Limits television program during its landmark early years. Nunn has released numerous solo albums over the decades, but it is his live performances that have always showcased the depth of his catalog and the warmth of his storytelling.
