Dallas: Del Castillo at The Kessler Theater
October 10 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Del Castillo Kessler Theater Show
Del Castillo Kessler Theater tickets are on sale for Saturday, October 10. The Austin flamenco-rock band brings its dual-guitar fireworks to Oak Cliff. Del Castillo started in the winter of 2000 as a family CD project. Brothers Mark and Rick del Castillo eventually added Alex Ruiz on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Because the six-member band centers its live show on the brothers’ dual leads on nylon-string classical guitars, every performance carries real intensity.
Between their first and third albums, Del Castillo won an astonishing 18 awards. Those included SXSW and Austin Music Awards for Album of the Year for both Vida and Brotherhood. The band has toured nationwide alongside acts as varied as Styx, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli, Kinky, Don Henley, Los Lobos, Ryan Bingham, and Willie Nelson. As a result, Del Castillo’s Kessler date should draw fans of rock, flamenco, and everything in between.

Since its restoration and reopening as a live music venue, the Kessler Theater has built a reputation for pristine acoustics. Its intimate room puts fans close to the stage.
