McAllen: Matteo Bocelli at McAllen Performing Arts Center
Matteo Bocelli performs at the McAllen Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with tickets starting at $97. The Italian singer brings his romantic, classically rooted pop to the Rio Grande Valley the week before Christmas.
Matteo is the son of tenor Andrea Bocelli and grew up in Tuscany surrounded by music. He first reached a worldwide audience singing “Fall on Me” with his father in 2018, a duet that earned millions of views and introduced his warm baritone-leaning voice. He has since stepped out on his own as a singer, pianist and songwriter, signing with Decca Records.
His second album, “Falling in Love,” was recorded in Tuscany with producer Martin Terefe, known for his work with Shawn Mendes and Jason Mraz. Matteo co-wrote the original songs, and the record blends his Italian and classical roots with contemporary pop. He has collaborated with Ed Sheeran and Sofia Carson, opened for Lionel Richie, performed for King Charles III and President Biden, and sang with his father during Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show. His Falling in Love World Tour has taken him across Europe, South America and the United States.

The McAllen Performing Arts Center opened in 2016 next to the McAllen Convention Center and is making it the Valley’s main room for touring concerts and Broadway shows. A December evening with Bocelli’s mix of Italian ballads, pop originals and classic standards should feel right at home there. See more shows on the McAllen Performing Arts Center venue page on Texas Music Map.
Doors typically open about an hour before showtime. The McAllen Performing Arts Center is at 801 Convention Center Boulevard, with parking at the convention center complex. Holiday traffic in the Valley picks up the week before Christmas, so plan to arrive early and enjoy the lobby before the show.
