RUSH brings its “Fifty Something” reunion tour to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, with tickets starting at $131. It’s the first time in more than a decade that Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have taken a full RUSH show on the road, making this one of the most anticipated rock tours of the year.
Formed in Toronto in 1968, RUSH spent five decades building a reputation as one of rock’s most technically accomplished bands, blending progressive rock, hard rock, and science-fiction-tinged lyricism into albums like “2112,” “Moving Pictures,” and “Permanent Waves.” The band’s classic lineup — Lee on bass, keyboards, and vocals, Lifeson on guitar, and the late Neil Peart on drums — sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
For the “Fifty Something” tour, Lee and Lifeson are joined by drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, rounding out a lineup built to do justice to RUSH’s famously intricate arrangements. The tour also serves as a tribute to Peart, who died in 2020, with the band weaving in moments that honor his legacy as one of rock’s most influential drummers.
San Antonio is one of only a handful of U.S. stops on the run, and Frost Bank Center’s 18,000-plus-seat arena is among the largest venues on the tour. The show lands the same week as The Red Clay Strays’ Frost Bank Center date, part of a stacked September concert lineup at the arena. RUSH’s live shows have always leaned on elaborate stage production, and this reunion run is no exception, with new visuals built around the band’s decades-spanning catalog.
Doors typically open about 90 minutes before showtime. Frost Bank Center offers ample parking around the arena, and given the demand expected for this reunion tour stop, arriving early is a good idea.
